Is this the official RTO test?
No. RTO Quiz is an independent practice website and is not affiliated with any RTO, state transport department, Parivahan, Sarathi or the Government of India. It only helps you prepare.
Is RTO Quiz free?
Yes. You can take as many practice tests as you like, without an account or login. The site may show advertisements to cover its running costs.
How many questions are in the real learner licence test?
It depends on the state. Many states ask around 10–20 questions with a pass mark of about 60% or more. This practice test uses 15 questions of 30 seconds each, with a pass mark of 9 correct answers.
Are these the same questions as the real test?
No. All questions on this site are original practice questions written for learning. The real test draws on the state's own question bank, so always read the official driver's handbook for your state too.
Which languages can I take the test in?
English, Hindi and many other Indian languages — pick one from the language menu on the test screen. You can change language even in the middle of a test. Languages marked "beta" are still awaiting review by native speakers.
Do I need to register or log in?
No. There is no sign-up. Your recent scores and language choice are saved only in your own browser.
Where is my score stored?
In your browser's local storage on your own device. We do not receive it. Clearing your browser data removes it. See our Privacy Policy.
Can I go back to a previous question?
No. To match the real computer-based test, you cannot return to an earlier question. You can see every correct answer on the result screen.
What happens if the 30 seconds run out?
The question is marked as not answered and the next question appears automatically.
I found a wrong question or translation. What should I do?
Please tell us through the Contact page with the question text and language. We review every report and correct errors.
Does passing here mean I will pass the real test?
No guarantee can be given. Practice improves your confidence, but the real test, its questions and its rules are set by your state transport authority.
